Ruairi graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2021 with a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry.
He has previous industry experience from a six months internship at Almac Sciences within the Custom and Flow chemistry team, where he worked on a collaboration with Corning® using their Lab Photo Reactor for benzylic photooxidation under continuous flow.
He joined the Baumann Group in January 2022 working on the development of biocatalytic continuous flow processes funded by SFI and in partnership with Almac.
