We use photochemical flow reactors such as the Vapourtec UV-150 module in combination with different light sources emitting in the UV and visible regions to exploit uniform irradiation in combination with the scalability of light-driven reactions. Recent work thereby focused on photoisomerisation processes to generate drug-like heterocycles such as oxazoles and quinolines or medicinally relevant bicyclopentane building blocks. Recently, we also reported on the discovery of a new photo-cascade process generating complex structures in high yields in a single step.
